Opal is winding down by the end of the year so there are new phone numbers for the community response teams

For over 12 years, OPAL has been providing information, advice and referrals to services for people in East Dunbartonshire who may need a bit of help and support, but do not necessarily know how to access it. Due to funding cuts for third-sector organisations across the area, OPAL will be winding down it’s support for residents of East Dunbartonshire by the end of the year.

A large part of OPAL’s work has been supporting and working closely with the volunteer community response groups: from Monday the 16th December, callers will have to contact these groups direct to make a request. The new phone numbers for these groups are below.
