The Older People’s Network is for organisations who support Older People in East Dunbartonshire

The next Older People's Network Meeting is on the 15th of September 2026, 11am to 12pm. The meeting will be held online via Microsoft Teams, details of how to join via link or phone are below.

We are delighted to have Lisa Martin from NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde's Patient Experience and Public Involvement Team joining us. Lisa will be sharing with us why medicines waste is everyone's business; what they are doing to try and raise awareness of medicines reviews; and how to make medicines reviews a better experience for patients, and for staff too. A question to think about in advance- has anyone had a recent experience of having a medicines review - what worked well and what could have been better? Lisa will also be covering a bit about the new Virtual Hospital and also how people can share their experiences of health or care services through Care Opinon.

There will also be an opportunity for sharing any updates- so if you have news of events, activities etc which may be of interest to groups & services supporting older people in East Dunbartonshire we would love to hear about it.
