Year 4 NOW CLOSED

(closed 7th Nov 2024)

Applicants will be notified of a decision by 20th of December 2024.

Over the past 3 years EDVA has supported 89 unique organisations in East Dunbartonshire and distributed £902,506 locally.

For year 4 we have £278,000 available for grants of up to £15,000. Local unconstituted Community groups can apply for up to £2,000.

The Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund has been established to provide grants to small, grassroots community groups and organisations. This funding comes in response to the mental health need arising from the cost-of-living crisis. The intended outcome of the fund is to develop a culture of mental wellbeing and prevention within local communities and across Scotland with improved awareness of how we can all stay well and help ourselves and others. To date, around £51 million with more than 4700 grants have been made to local projects across Scotland.

This fund is now closed.

Year 3

Awards 2023-24

In year 3 East Dunbartonshire Voluntary action funded 48 organisations. We had £278,000 to distribute in East Dunbartonshire. We had a total of over £600,000 of applications, which unfortunately meant the panel had to make some very difficult decisions on who to award funding to. EDVA appreciate all the time spent by organisations on completing the application.
