Events Management Guidance Plan 2025

East Dunbartonshire Council has created the Events Management Guidance Plan. Aimed at individuals or community groups wishing to host an event within the East Dunbartonshire local authority area.

Please note that, depending on the size and nature of your event, not all of the guidance will be relevant and needs to be considered.

East Dunbartonshire Council has provided as much detail as possible to help support a wide range of potential events, but this is not intended to be an exhaustive checklist for every event.

East Dunbartonshire Council hopes that you can take the advice and tips which are useful and appropriate, and they will help to ensure that your event runs smoothly.

If you would like to speak to East Dunbartonshire Council about organising local events, then please get in touch via their events email address: events@eastdunbarton.gov.uk
