Compassionate Distress Response Service (CDRS)
CDRS provides a short-term listening service for young people experiencing acute emotional distress. Referrals into the service will receive support to develop a plan of action to help alleviate feelings of distress. The service is operated by Glasgow Association for Mental Health (GAMH) on behalf of East Dunbartonshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP). The service supports East Dunbartonshire Young People 16 – 25 years of age (26 years if care experienced) to manage their distress and provide onward referral if required.

Child Friendly Complaints
On July 16 2024, the United Nation Convention on the Rights of Children (UNCRC) Act 2024 was incorporated into domestic law in Scotland. This Act ensures that children’s rights are central to policy and decision-making, and that their needs are met by public service complaints procedures in Scotland.
