Is your organisation involved in or connected to Employability in East Dunbartonshire?
EDVA are delighted to be hosting East Dunbartonshire’s Third Sector Employability Summit. The purpose of the Summit will be to raise awareness of No One Left Behind national and local priorities and funding AND explore ideas for innovation and collaboration with third sector and community organisations who are involved in or connected to employability in East Dunbartonshire.
We are excited to hear from our speakers, Drummond Stewart - Manager- Skills for Learning, Life and Work, Education, People and Business, East Dunbartonshire Council & Chair of the Local Employability Partnership and also Pegs Bailey - National Third Sector Employability Partnership Engagement Manager, Scottish Government. We want to hear from you as we discuss how we can best serve our local community.
The DWP recently announced their “Keep Britain Working” review which aims to explore how to urgently support people with long-term illnesses or disabilities back into work, and to stay in work. This may involve people currently receiving employability support from your organisation and could impact them in the future.
The Summit will take place on Tuesday 11th February, 11am – 2pm and lunch will be provided. Please feel free to share the details with your colleagues and register via Eventbrite here https://EDVA_third_sector_employability.eventbrite.co.uk
