What should charities do in response to the war?

You will be aware of the First Minister’s statements last week confirming Scotland’s unqualified support for Ukrainian sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and strong support for the package of international economic sanctions against the Russian invasion.  Public bodies and businesses have been asked to review operations for links and connections to Russia – however indirect.

OSCR have been active in monitoring the situation and providing regular updates to guidance for the Charity sector which can be accessed here; OSCR | Ukraine: What should charities do in response to the war?

We would be grateful if you would consider this guidance and make sure the wider sector you work with is aware of it too.

Thank you for your help in this matter and for the assistance it will lend to the international efforts to support Ukraine.
