We would be delighted if you could support our young people and attend the showcase event for the Young People Vaping & Nicotine Products partnership project between East Dunbartonshire HSCP Health Improvement, EDVA and East Dunbartonshire Council Trading Standards in which over 1600 local young people have taken part.
The morning will include:
Findings from the health needs assessment including prevalence and attitudes on vaping and nicotine products
Young peoples’ interpretation of the captured data; this is being developed by young people from Kirkintilloch High School and Creative Sparks.
Information from Trading Standards about the law around vaping and nicotine products, test purchasing locally and what is in nicotine pouches
An overview of the NHSGGC Vaping and Young People resource pack and NHSGGC funded Talk about Trust lessons plans on Tobacco and Vaping aimed at schools and youth work settings.
