New Chief Officer

Dear Members and Colleagues

 EDVA is pleased to announce the appointment of  a new Chief Officer to succeed Alex Meikle on his retirement early next year.  

 The new Chief Officer is Ann Innes. Ann is currently CEO at CACE – Cumbernauld Action on Care of the Elderly.  Before that she has held senior positions with a number of UK wide Third Sector organisations, including Prostrate Cancer UK and the British Lung Foundation.

 Ann brings extensive experience of the Third Sector including finance, governance, staff leadership, partnership working, sourcing funding and relations with external parties, experience which will be to the benefit of EDVA and the Third Sector in East Dunbartonshire.

 Ann will take up post on January 31st and we wish her a warm welcome to EDVA.
